Anyone that has been to Carlisle knows that Saturday is the "BIG" day and Friday and Sunday normally half travel days. I Don't want to take away from Carlisle, but thought I would let you know of other events might persuade you to make the trip . Both events are about an hour from Carlisle.
June 6-8th is the NSRA Street Rod Nationals - East in York, PA. It's one of the largest street rod events on the east coast.

June 6-8th is the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum's (MAAM) World War II weekend in Reading, PA. It started out as the Reading airshow and has transformed into one of the largest if not the largest World War II only shows.

The MAAM has a P-61 Black Widow, 1 of only 4 left in the world and they are in the process of restoring it to flying conditions.
