Refilling Air Springs

Almost finished with my air spring swap, once everything is connected, is there a procedure to refill the air springs? Not sure if to lower the car back on to the ground all the way or somewhat to let them refill in steps.

The factory method is to use the scan tool and command the springs to inflate. Of course that doesn't work for those of us that don't have the factory scan tool. So here is what I do to avoid pinching/tearing the bags.

With the car still supported by the frame turn on the suspension switch, turn on the ign and close the door and trunk. Then jack up the axle until it sits in the wheel wells slightly higher than normal ride height. Let the compressor run for a while. Shut off the air suspension switch and then let the axle back down. Jack it back up to that point where the axle is sitting higher in the wheel wells than normal ride height and then turn on the switch and let the compressor run until it lifts the car slightly and shuts off. Then shut the switch off and drop the axle again and make sure that the bags are not twisted or pinched. If all looks good then set the car back on the ground and turn the switch back on.
