In about 2 or 3 weeks I plan to swap the stock converter to a high stall.
A good shop here will do the work & go through the whole trans for any upgrades.
TCI recommended this high stall for my MM & needs,Any thoughts on it. :)

Can't go wrong with a PI.

Call them and they will build one to your specs.

I've been trying to order this from them for two weeks. It's almost painful dealing with them. If you don't mind me asking, did you pay the price in the link? I ordered the converter and after 10 days I called to check status, and was told that price wasn't good but they didn't know the right price and would get back to me. Now I'm playing the waiting game some more.

Circle D is hands down the best converter I ever purchased for any car.
Absolutely amazing how fast it lets the engine wind up without sacraficing normal driving.

I run a Circle D tripple disc converter , they are simply the best you can buy! as for tci wouldn't buy a decal from them , total garbage.

I also encourage you to get a Circle-D unit. BOC reps them and can help you spec one or you can go to Chris directly at Circle D. I enjoyed the unit they built me. Had a grand tour of their facility here in Houston as well. Quality stuff, great people.

Whatever magic potion goes into a Circle-D is truly awesome.
I will never order anything else in the future.
Best $1100 I ever spent.

No mistake there. One of the best convertors I've owned = 2 of them.
And their tech guys are right on.
first was a 4000 stall from a wild turbo car. I put it behind a stock motor - and they told me to try it, should stall around 3000 in my car.. It was perfect!
Next was a full race for LS-1 turbo convertor, I put in Procharged LT-1
They said try it, might be ~500rpm loose - they would re stall it at low cost, even sent me the correct crank snout ring for free.
It was eactly 500rpm loose, but worked flawlessly for 3 summers.

Had to cut my visit short today. Just how much blood do they need to draw from the little guy. Tomorrow is another day. :depress:

I called in and ordered and paid the price that was in the link at the time, Lonnie was pretty good as far a customer service goes and didn't have any problems. He even got it to 88grandmarq faster than the shipping said.

Hopefully we have it figured out and it's on its way. Alot of unnecessary time waisted and the project on hold.
