Marauder Owners Guide Question

I just remembered that when i last browsed my owners guide i noticed a paragraph in climate controls operating tips that says as follows.

"Under normal weather conditions do not leave your vehicle in max ac, recirculation control (if equipped) or off mode when turning the ignition off"

I can understand ac and whatnot but off as well? What happens if i keep leaving it off when i turn the car off?

...and the paragraph right under that admonition says:

"Under snowy or dirty weather conditions, leave your vehicle in Max
A/C (if equipped), recirculation control (if equipped), or Off mode
when turning off the ignition."

The exact opposite...

I've never heard of either of those things. No idea why they would say them...

I was once told the same thing after having the blend door replaced in my 97 explorer.
The mechanic said to reduce condensation turn it off max ac a couple minutes before I reach my destination. :dunno: I had never heard that before but after paying $600 bucks I do it just in case.

I have mine set to 72 degrees / Automatic since day one. On problems at all.
