I'm trying to find out some of the history on my 2003 MM. I know from the carfax it was bought in Union City Ga. Sept 03, registered in Franklin, Tn.
11,000 miles later Pearman LM bought it at auction in TN mid Dec 03. That seems awful quick for a car to go to auction. I bought it from Pearman LM in Mar 04. Anybody know anything about this car? As far as I can tell it is unmodified and had no major repairs. Any help would be appreciated.

If you can get ahold of the VIN...we have some members here who can "run it" for you and give you any history you want on the car.

The kid down the street worked as a repossessor. He told me when I bought my MM that within 60 days of the roll-out of the MM he had repossessed 8 from people who never made the first payment.

Interesting , Dan. Is the "not make the first payment" fairly common?? I wonder if that's where a lot of low mileage used cars are the dealer's lot come from....

I don't have any numbers on it but I bet that a lot of "zero down" deals are bought by people who may have marginal credit. Throw in an attractive car and I can see some kid's eyes getting bigger than his wallet. Then when reality sets in he realizes that he can have the car or the apartment.

I can run your VIN for you on Ford's OASIS. However, it will not say if the car went repo, though.
