Not cut, grind. Local shop here says slotted rotors cannot be cut, makes sense, so hopefully some clever shop has a grind set.up.

Shops that say they can't cut slotted rotors are just afraid they will damage their equipment.

Funny this came up. When I was getting my Nitto's installed yesterday, the guys informed me that the rear pads are getting thin. They also said that they most likely would not be able to "turn" the rotors because they are cross drilled. So, they would just put on a new set of pads. I, of course, said let me think about it (knowing that I could get the real scope from you guys!).
