View Full Version : May be back in a Marauder - is this a good deal?
One of the guys at work has a Marauder and I've mentioned to him a couple of times that I've missed mine since I sold it. So today he said he would sell his. It's a black 2003 (I believe it's a 300A) with 55K miles. It's in nice shape all around, no dents, no rust, needs a little touch up here and there, but nothing big at all. New Cooper rubber in OEM sizes. He's firm at $8500.
Should I get back into the Marauder community or not?

Hell of a deal. I paid $9500 for a 77k mile that needed tires, and that was two years ago.

Do it. Especially if it's got coopers:) I've had my RS3s on for six months now and love them.

You should ask yourself why you got rid of it? Did you need the cash, etc?
Or, was it something else like the car wasn't for you at the time? Or something else.

Good price but if you have to ask us if you should get a marauder then you probably shouldn't.
But it is a great price

Ditto x10 In my opinion that's a steal
A year and a half ago I paid $9000 for my one owner 300a with 125K
If you don't buy it...I'll find him and buy me another one :banana2:

If you've seen the car...and it lives up to the owners statements about it?
JUMP ON IT WITH BOTH FEET.....That's a real Bargain.
Best of luck....don't let anyone beat you to the punch on it. :bandit:

Sounds like a deal to me!
Is he the original owner?
I'm gonna have to pass. The timing is not good for me, and my garage is full. Maybe another time. If anyone's interested, my friend said he would like to get $9950 for it. It's located in Springfield, MO. PM me if you have an interest and I'll give you his cell numbers.

I realize you made the decision to pass on it, but if you ever again contemplate getting into another Marauder I'd follow this guy's advice. If you got rid of your previous one because you didn't like something about it, you very likely will still dislike it in a new (to you) Marauder.
Who says I sold it because I disliked it?

In my defense, I said "if" :o
Just pointing something out. Obviously, it's your money, your life, your car, etc. Do what you want.
