Just got my event schedule. What a book! You did a great job putting this together Dave. That also goes to any and all that helped. I am truly impressed.

Thanks Kirk,
I put a lot into it, tried to make it as complete as possible. That is pretty much how I plan on things myself anyway, so I can have my hotel, maps, event info in one packet, grab it and run! There will be more things added, calendars will be updated, and events will be finalized. When this happens, I will either email you the udated calendars, or email you an info packet on a new event that you just pop into the binder. I hope this makes it a lot more simple to get together and now that most of the hard stuff with planning is done, we can all just kick back and enjoy the summer events coming up.

For anyone in Michigan that has yet to join the Motor City Marauders and recieve our event schedule, email or private message me and I will get you signed up.... I just heard our latest Motor City Marauder Member is none other than Steve Babcock himself, think he makes 32 or 33 so far.

Well Done! This has to be the most professional job on a club event schedule I've seen.

I plan at being at a majority of events.

If you need any help, or other organizing assistance, let me know.

Dave, the binder is a fantastic resource. I can have it on the shelf and know that all of the MCM info is in one place. Thanks a lot.

Dave,

You really did a great job of the Motor City Marauders 2004 Event Schedule Book! What a great resource for all of us in Michigan to help get together for upcoming events.

I am sure I speak for everyone when I say that you have been fantastic at pulling all of the Michigan Marauder onwers together for lot's of good times with good friends. That's what a well organized car club is all about! No politics, just lots of good times!

Just remember that all of us in the Motor City Marauders Club are willing to help out anyway we can.

Looks like great weather today, I hope you and Lidio have some good runs at Milan Dragway!!!! Don't forget the videos and pictures!

I agree with everyone else, great job putting things together Dave. This group is lucky to have someone with the knowledge, resource and driving desire to put together a great club and a great schedule of events. This summer will be a great one. I think all we need now is for Mother Nature to join the club so we have perfect weather for these events. Let us know about Milan.

Mike, just keep on top of that one spot on woodward we talked about. You should be first in line for it....its all you baby!

I did some reconnaisance on that spot and it looks perfect. 25 spaces in the pirme spot, plus a big lot which can offer a space for a tent/supplies/etc. I'll be updating you soon. BTW, can I mention possible IMOA support to perspective hosts?

Well, If things go well, I am hoping for more support than just that. This has caught the eye of some really influential people, give me a call and I will fill you in.

Reserve a spot for me. I'll bring a 10 X 10, pop-up canopy. This is gonna be cool.

Would it be possible to get an abbreviated version of your schedule? I have a good friend in Farmington and I'd love to combine a visit with him and a chance to meet you all.

Larry

Larry,
PM me your mailing address, phone number, and email address so I can contact you if plans change, I have some schedules done up for non members that are interested in joining in, same thing, just not in the fancy binders. Do you think you might be able to bring some of your hoser brothers down with you for some of our events? Plan on Woodward for sure, plans are falling into place nicely for that one! As always, EVERYONE is welcome to attend anything the MCM plan.

So if anyone closeby is interested in getting our schedule, shoot me the same info I asked Larry for, mailing address, contact phone numbers, and email address. If you are interested, move fast, a lot of events we are planning require early registration. Check our forum for the latest Marauder Events.

Sorry Dave, I was trying to draw attention to Kirk's sig. It states he has the first Marauder sold 6-6-02, but I bought mine on 5-29-02. An I'm sure there are more members here that got theirs before that. Oh well, anyways congrats on your new low et. I am hoping to go to the Trilogy weekend. When exactly is it? I'll be using most of what's left of my vacation time on my honeymoon next month. But hopefully I can work something out and make it. Will you guys be going to the track that weekend also? I have still not taken my car down the 1/4, but would love to for the first time in Michigan where it was reborn. :P :burnout: :burnout:

If you took delivery of your car on 5-29-02 Ford apparently does not have a record of it. I have a Ford spread sheet listing the first several months of sales and an e-mail from Steve Babcock stating mine was the first. I'm not calling you a lier, just telling you what I got from Ford. I didn't make the claim lightly.
