I'll be at a car show sponsored by Griots tomorrow. In terms of paint shine, I am more of a Zaino guy. Other than paint care products, are there any particular Griots products some of you guys really like?
Thanks

They have a decent upholstery cleaner. Other than that the products I have used I didn't care for, polish, sealants, cleaners.
I do think their 3" DA Polisher has some interesting possibilities.

Their Rubber Prep is the best rubber cleaner I have ever used.
Never found anything special about Zaino products. Opinions will vary.

Yup, and here is mine!
I haven't found a better leather treatment, and I believe other than maybe a couple of newcomers I have tried all of them.
Zaino, in order to see the difference in LSPs you will need a minimum of 6 coats to BEGIN seeing it.
On many of my best paint trophies we are talking in excess of 20 coats.
Zaino paint products deliver deep shine with layering.
They offer serious protection in lesser coats but the major shine is earned, not given.
The first vehicle I tried Zaino on had very badly abused paint. I bought the car fully expecting to paint it, it really had no shine left in many places.
At that time I had never heard of using a DA polisher on paint.
I bought the Zaino kit, flayed the car and started applying it by Sal's directions.
At first I really didn't see anything happening. But I found Zaino to be the easiest paint sealant I had ever applied and I figured I had it and it was paid for so I kept going. At or around layer number 6 the car started to change color. (It was another black Ford) as I continued layering the car got better and better. At layer #21 it looked like I had painted it.
I took the car to SSHS that year and had many people asking what my secret was to keep my car looking like that. Most didn't believe that a few weeks earlier the car had little or no shine and looked like it had been washes with 120 wet or dry sandpaper used dry.
It was a year later when I discovered the glorious Porter Cable and learned how to do paint corrections.

That picture is all Zaino no polish.

All the above being said, last years SSHS, other than Zaino leather in a bottle there were no Zaino products used.
No Zaino on the paint at all.
But it gives amazing results and I still recommend it for many people.

X2. It's an absolute miracle product. Works great on plastic trim too.

When I first got the MM I used several Carnuba based waxes, Collinite & Meguiars, and they all melted off in July/August.
I switched to Zaino and I haven't found anything that has reflective properties that come close.

Thanks for the input guys. I ended up buying a gallon of Griots speed shine. I understand this product is to be used to quickly touch up your car. I tested some of this on my car after driving in the rain. Pretty good stuff. From Griot's site:
"This blue elixir gently loosens and lifts dust, pollen, smudges, light grime, and bird bombs off your paint, where they can be safely whisked away. Simply mist Speed Shine® onto the surface, gently wipe dry, and buff to a spectacular luster. Speed Shine® is safe for all paints and clearcoats and can also be used on trim, wheels, and exterior plastic trim. Works best with our blue Micro Fiber Speed Shine® Cloths."
I am just about to place an order of Zaino Z-2 pro and leather in a bottle. I've only used Z-5 pro in the past, but I was very impressed. Back then I had a black MM. I think Z-2 is a better fit for my SB.

When I am using it I prefer to use both Z2 and Z5.
After ZAIO came to be I started using it as a base coat and layering up from there. While Z5 isn't a filler it's reflective properties seem to hide imperfections and Z2 adds depth and shine.
I have found it to be the same on all colors I have done, even white.

Some sorta-random comments on recently mentioned products:
SpeedShine is a pretty good QD, especially on waxes. It doesn't have the longest shelf life though, so don't buy too much.
For a QD on black trim I greatly prefer ValuGard's Fast Finish.
For a QD on sealants I usually prefer FinishKare's FK425 or FK146.
ZAIO is a very good AIO, by hand or machine. However, I don't like it on black plastic trim, preferring the (basically nonabrasive) Klasse AIO.
