Just wanted to discuss the possiblity of taking a stock Marauder to high 13's 1/4 mile on 2 and only 2 changes to stock vehicle.
My vehicle is a 14.5 car on programming, BillyG's results with the P.I Stallion converter are a .7 sec reduction in E.T.
If my math is correct a .7 sec reduction on a 14.5 car is a 13.8 car. One change is electrical the other is mechanical.
In theory it will yield a 13 second car. What do you guys think ?

Depends on the air and traction.
If you want a 13 second car when it's 75+* and 75%+ humidity you are going to have to do at least gears and the high stall with the track having good traction.
With 75*/75% humidity and ok traction 50% of my runs are sub 14.0.
Good air and good traction .3 to .4 ET reduction.

I don't have a time for my car in 90*/90% yet, which are very common in Fl. I already have a problem with traction, will the converter make the traction problem worse ?

I don't have a t/c yet...but tonight in 57 degree weather and absolutely horrible traction, I ran 13.9 all night.

Yes w/ a T/C you will have traction issues.

Based on the title of this thread, I thought that you were referring to comments made by Todd's wife on his "staying" power....
