Still having some issues with fuel delivery, but pretty pleased with the new numbers from this Dyno-tune.

First number is baseline, 2nd is after getting the air/fuel to a better "straight-line". Biggest change for the better was getting rid of that :censor: go into 4th/Overdrive under light throttle at 30 MPH. It's now set at 45 MPH and drives MUCH better. Hopefully we can get this fuel delivery querkything fixed and run again in a few days.

All of a sudden that fuel filter mod is looking more interesting...eh?

I think I will use some of the same tunes as you, the OD drives me nuts as well.
Keep us informed Tod. I also found that a high velocity fan in the front of the car yields much higher results.

Naw...we don't think it's the filter, so...still not interested.

My last "Jerry-tune" yeilded 295 RWHP and 320 RWTQ....but...that was on a completely cold engine (those of you who've been to one know what the wait is like). This yesterday was strapped down about 5 minutes after the 30 minute drive in traffic up to Team Ford which yeilded the baseline of 289 RWHP and 301 RWTQ.

After some VERY detailed fine-tuning....we got the 292.3 RWHP and 312 RWTQ...so I'm happy with those numbers until I get my cold-air kit put on.
And the customized shift program is MUCH better than what Jerry had it set at.

This worked on my MM, ask your Team Ford guys about leaving the altenator ON during WOT. It may be a voltage issue in the higher RPMs, when everything is running off the battery.

Thanks...I'll ask.

Good idea Mac,
I've wondered what that loss of 1.5-2vdc might be doing to the fuel pump pressure and FLOW at WFO.

Todd,
How did they do the re-tune? Do they have the ability to reburn the PCM or did you get rid or the Diablo chip in favor of a SCT chip?

how many hp at the flywheel is an estimate for 300hp at the rear wheels?

apples to apples.. our 302hp stock at the flywheel must be about 360 or so now to get to 300hp at the rear wheels... ?

302HP @ the flywheel = ~256RWHP

356HP @ the flywheel = ~300RWHP

How did you calculate or get this data?

The average loss thru the power train is about 20%, so 302 hp at the flywheel times 80% at the rear wheels will yield about 242 horses at the rear wheels: 302x80%=241.6.

That ^^^ is correct Javier. And just about every stock Marauder that I've seen dyno'd for the baseline came out between 240-245 RWHP.

Mine originally was 241. So to be at almost 293 N/A...I'm happy.

For goodness sakes!!! Please don't let Butch know anymore on this subject!!! He hasn't quite calmed down yet from his '04 base line dyno-

Those are some nice numbers Todd. The powerband is starting to "widen" also, which, IMHO is just as important as the peak numbers. The peak throws you back in the seat, the width keeps you there.
