About a year ago I replaced or rather I had the upper ball joints replaced...The drivers side has a grease fitting but,the pass, side does not..Bought them new at the same time..Now I'm hearing some sqeeking..I sprayed it with WD 40 but,I know that won't last..Is this the norm?Anyway to add a grease fitting?Someone suggested slitting the rubber boot and shooting some grease in there..I'm thinking the grease would end up oozing out....Any suggestions????

Are you sure it's coming from that ball joint? Could be from somewhere else. Very unusual to have a ball joint start to fail after a year.
Don't compromise the boot.

They make "needles" to inject grease into boots...only makes a pinhole.

I just installed a ball joint in the lower drivers side this morning. There is a "brass nipple" where you inject grease into. That's what the replacement ball joint came with. If you still have the stock ones on then maybe you have to use that "needle" or get another one. Did you buy two different brands, how come only one side came with a nipple.

Stock ball joints, u-joints etc. haven't had grease fittings for years. The non-greasable ones are supposed to be grease for life.

I wonder if it's possible to drill a small hole on top of the ball joint cap, tap it and screw in a grease fitting.
