yesterday my car starting having a electrical problem

I hear a clicking noise sounds like behind the dash and it makes my headlights come on and off and makes my inside lights get really dim and dash clock and all flicker when it clicks?????

its really getting on my nerve and I basically am scared to drive it at night don't want my headlights to keep coming on and off

could this be my LCM going bad.... I have FBM fix.... I am just so confused

Sounds like the LCM (Lighting Control Module) which is above the gas pedal, under the knee bolster. Its a black box, easily accessible and they have inherent issues with the headlight relay failing because it's tiny and solid-state. If it does it again, use your right fist to smack the bottom of the dash by your right knee. This has plagued all the Panther cars and was just recalled. many have done the relay replacement fix which is quite involved but easy for a gearhead. Contact the dealer and verify the recall.

Look for the fuse for your HID system, mine did something similar a while back, the fuse holder was sorta melted.

i have FBM lcm unit and only about a year old

also yes I do have HID but don't have a clue were to find the fuse holder for them ???

Go to radio shack or advanced auto and buy a 30/40 amp relay, near the fuse section. Swap it out with the external relay fbm provided and see if it fixes the issue. Also the fuse for the hid system should be near the battery somewhere, its an inline fuse thats literally on a wire. That could also be bad or corroded.

It have the same exact thing since I got da MM. I always thought it was an actuator or som tapping on my DD radio, but has been more frequent since it got hot

Same thing- and my[ blend door actuator was replaced 6 months ago ] my lights are ok though -I will look into the LCM cause it is original with 135.000 miles .:shake: >>>> any Input ??
