Would like to buy a MAF sensor to replace my own. Tried MAF sensor cleaner and it didn't do any good.

What is the issue you are having again?

Engine light is still on from last time. I tried cleaning it but the light never went off. I could always unplug the battery and erase the whole thing but that isn't going to fix whatever problem is going on. It isn't driving any different though.

Try having the code cleared first and see if it comes back.
If the cleaning did do the trick it will take a lot of drive cycles for the CEL to go off, the code will still be stored in history cel codes but not be active.
If you unplug the battery the additive driving learning system will take some cycles to re-learn you driving habits.

Wouldn't I have to get one of those diagnose scanners to erase it? The unplug battery thing was something my father told me once lol.

Yeah you can disconnect the negative terminal for 10 mins or so and it will clear the code.
If you had access to a code reader you could just clear the code without resetting everything.

Right. When I've done it in the past, I've had the unfortunate pleasure of resetting my radio back to exactly how I wanted it. I didn't notice anything else. I'll give it a try and see what happens.

You will have a device to clear your codes in your hands by mid-week next week or sooner....

Yea. That's usually how it goes. Take money, go fast. Break it, take more money, go faster. Lol. Had to get my summer projects started at some point.

You will SOOOO wish you had got a tune a long time ago for the car. :burnout:
Maf's almost never go bad.
You can verify it is working with the new tuners datalogging ability.
I would suspect the pigtail before anything.
