Question about my window retinting

Mods please place this in the correct place if it isn't already.

What I have is my windows are tinted at 4% visibility as verified by 2 different police officers on 2 different traffic stops. I'm getting them tinted again tomorrow. I'm wondering how dark would it be if I had just the sides done in 35% and do 50% over the whole windshield? The rear will remain the same 4%. Thanks for any help provided.

Might want to check with the shop that is doing the tint job.

I didn't get pulled over here. It was in Pelham, Al.. cop did a double take when he saw me. Guess he was bored. Middle of the day. Sun shining bright and he could clearly see me thru my windshield. It doesn't even have a strip across the top

I have 30 on the driver and passenger door, 20 on the back doors, 10 on the back glass, with 40 top to bottom on the windshield. The 40 is too dark so you will be good at 50. It will make it pretty dark still by doing this. You will be pleased. I have the 50 on my Truck and DD. It really does look good and blocks light perfectly for me.

I really don't care about it being so dark, I just don't want it to be just so light. It would be too light with just 35% on the sides and nothing on the windshield. Any pics??

As of today I will have 4% on the rear doors and back window, 35% on the front doors and 50% on the windshield. Going to get the rear doors in 35% as well another day
