Recently I had my engine rebuilt. On the way home my CEL came on. I checked the codes, an came up with 2195, n 135. (2195, Oxygen signal biased/stuck lean bank 1 sensor 1 135, Oxygen sensor heater bank 1 sensor 1) I cleared the codes, an they came back. So, when I had my mufflers done, I had them check it out. They put a new sensor in, an cleared the code. It came back on, after I left! I started looking around for loose connections, and found the PCV valve wasn't locked into place. (I thought maybe that was the problem, it wasn't.) So now I'm not sure what to do. Anybody have any ideas?

Drive it and see if the code(s) come back.

Drive it and see if the code(s) come back.

Now that's the funny thing about it. I clear the codes, and they're back within a few hours. On Saturday, I drove around with the light on, and tried not to let it bother me. Sunday, it was on in the morning, but the rest of the day it was off. Well, until later that night. I really think it's something minute, but I just got my notice for emissions. So I gotta have it figured out by September.

Bad connector, bad connection, wrong O2 sensor, wrong O2sensor replaced ??

It was definitely the right sensor, that was replaced. Upper passenger side is bank 1, sensor 1. Though, I'm almost positive he didn't put in a Motorcraft one. He also said, that he didn't see anything, not hooked up, but I wonder about that.
Now, when I look up P0135, it says the code will go away, once a new sensor is put in. It doesn't always have to be replaced with that code, but whatever it's problem is, should all be fixed with a new sensor. Obviously, that didn't work. Which is why I'm leaning towards bad connecter, or bad connection. I've read to check the fuses for the O2 sensors. I just have to figure out which ones they are.

I just replaced all 4 O2 sensors in mine, different sensors for upper and lower, I heard from several to use Motorcraft and I did on the upstream ones but used Bosch on the downstream as I had already purchased those. I did find one connector with a pin broke off and stuck in the female connector and I repaired that.

So I assume you've had these codes too? Because, I'd buy the whole pin broken off, a good reason why I'd have these codes.

I didn't have the codes. I just replaced my motor and when I and checked all the connectors as I unhooked them I didnt catch it, but when I put dielectric grease on them when I plugged them back together ,that's when I caught it. The pin could have been stuck and pulled out when I unplugged it.

So would it be better to change all the sensors, with having my motor rebuilt?

At least the upstreams,,,, , the downstreams only monitor the condition of your cats

Still have these darn codes. I did find out that my pcv valve wasn't clicked in. I was hoping that it would fix my problem, but obviously it didn't. It' so frickin weird! One day it's on, the next it'll be off. I lasted for two days, one time, before it came back on. An then, I'll clear it, and it'll be back in twenty mins.. Sometimes it's both, or separately. I know it's something minute that I'm missing! I just don't want to take it to a mechanic, to rape me for something easy. When I give up, I'll take it to someone, or the guys who put the new O2 sensor in. Any other ideas?
