I want to install an H pipe on my 03 MM. I looked on the web for one and can't find one specific to the MM. I've come across a few that say "universal" but I don't know much about the mechanics of our system to make a purchase without consulting the Forum. Any information to help me achieve my goal of a mean exhaust system including a H pipe would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

No one makes an H pipe or the MM. A Mustang one can be modified to fit.

Thanks for the welcome! I've wanted a marauder since I was 16 (when they came out) and I FINALLY got one a few months ago. Black 2003 with 67k. It's my dream car. I am very excited to slowly mod it up. The car is all stock right now except a K&N CAI. I'm excited to do a full header/exhaust set up (including an h pipe). I've already decided on the SW headers but, because they don't supply a full system with H pipe, I'm going to find the H separately and keep the rest out the back stock. Unless anyone else has any suggestions. I'd love to hear. Thank you for your help.

isn't the factory pipe an H pipe?

I believe so, I think he wants it up sized though. That's why I asked what he had, I thought maybe someone jacked the exhaust and he was after a stock H.

You should throw the headers on with the stock H and re evaluate your decision. I think you'll be quite impressed with nothing else done.

Ok thanks. I actually was reading a post from someone on the forum who did just that. Headers and kept the rest stock. It sounded good. I think I will try that. Should I also take off the rear cats and resonators? And if I do this, it would only increase the sound? I'm looking for the old school muscle car sound. Not keen on the x pipe sound. IMO.

These are modular motors and with rare exception (justbob, in this case) they dont really have the old school v8 rumble like a big block makes. justbob has cams and numerous other supporting mods and his sounds like that, but generally it's a different sound these types of motors make than the old schol rumble IMO. They still sound good though, rear cat delete and resonator delete adds more tone

Delete those rear cats and see if you like the sound. I love the sound of my car and all I have is rear cat delete and flow master 44's

Having a DOHC engine coupled with a really long exhaust system makes them kinda high-pitched. My '68 Buick GranSport sounds way more badass than my Marauder, but the MM will walk all over the Buick.
Having said that, an H-pipe will definitely sound better than an X.
