Went to the Ford dealer down the road and got all 4 corners balanced on the Hunter GSP9700 while I watched. My Marauder had some nasty steering wheel shake around 65-75 and it only got worse the faster you went. After the balance, no more wheels shake! And that's with old tires! Smooth all the way to 85 mph. Didn't go any faster than that while testing. It still pulls pretty hard to the right, but I think that's alignment. The toe on my car seems to be off.

I was gonna have them measure run out and readjust the tires onto the rim accordingly, but they said with the condition my tires are in it was probably just better to get them balanced to provide temporary relief and to wait on a full scale adjustment and alignment once I buy new tires here soon. I have lots of inner wear and the tread is gettin low, so it made sense.

I currently have Eagle F1's w/ 235/50 fronts and 255/55 rears. They only have about 4/32 left and a couple are really near the wear bars, so new Nittos or Coopers are in the near future.

Finally, no more feelin like I'm holdin a jack hammer at highway speeds! Gettin them balanced this way is the only way to go for me from now on!

I've owned one Marauder. And it shook. So I got the wheels balanced.

Honestly, the whole car didn't shake. The car as a whole is smooth as silk at high speeds. The unbalanced wheels were the culprit, causing vibration and steering assembly shake.

I have a steel wheel on my daily that is bent, unlike a normal bend. Part of the wheel the radial way is shifted over, it deformed the tire, and pulls hard to the right when installing it up front. Leaving it on a rear corner, you would never tell there is a problem.
