The washer pump on my wife's 2009 Ford Flex isn't working. The wipers work, but when I push the knob for washer fluid, I don't get any washer fluid and I don't hear the pump running. I do hear a click when I push the knob, so I'm thinking that is the sound of a relay? I can't seem to find the location of the fuse for the washer pump. The owners manual doesn't list a fuse for the washer pump. I've checked all of the fuses in the panel in the engine compartment and now I'm checking the ones under the dash. What a pain in the but. A new pump is over $100, so I hate to buy one only to find out that's not the problem. Next step is to remove the pump which I believe means removing the right front wheel and fender liner. Wondering if anyone has seen something similar to this? Or the location to the fuse or relay? Thanks, Curt

I just started it to re-position it in my garage to remove the right front wheel and now it works. It also works with the engine off and the key in the Accessory Position (as I was doing before) and now it works. WTF. My wife said she was driving when it wasn't working.

Could be. Or maybe the pump is failing. About 92,000 miles on the clock.

My mother has a fwd 2009 as well she has put 117,xxx miles on it and other than normal maintenance, all we have had to do is an O2 sensor.

FYI: My marauder had wash pump issues show just prior to the wiper motor failing. The issues all along was the wiper motor assembly and not the washer pump.
