The Blackhawk Car museum is hosting it's monthly car show on Sunday July 6th. I went in June and they had several hundred cars there. One of the Blackhawk docents stated that if we had a club show up, they would reserve space for us up front. His definition was 5 or more ...
It is an early event, need to be onsite by around 0715/0730. I left around 1000 last month and there were still cars showing up.
Anyone interested?

Already been to the Blackhawk museum. It's kind of if you've been there once, no need to see it again. I'd have to check my calendar but if more Marauders were showing up I wouldn't mind the meet up part of it but not interested in seeing the museum again. We don't have enough of them meet ups around here. :-)

I did not go into the museum last month. I was to busy checking out all the personal cars that came out ...
Typical mustangs and camaros but also the 47 Cadillac, 1904 Olds, 1920s Rolls Royce, Lotus, Diabo, 4x4's ... just overall a huge collection of nice cars. The turn out last month was around 500 cars.

Yes, let's throw out some ideas.
Fort Point or USS Hornet? Unfortunately, would have to get there early to park together before the parking lots get full. Those that haven't been can then take thier families inside for the tour/giftshop.
Other famous bay area restaurants like we did for Alice's in Woodside? I like Clarkes Charcoil Broiler but there is limited parking. I also like Cattlemans.
Other famous bay area spots for good photos? Does Alum Rock or Muir woods have any scenic photo ops? Any other musuems or car collections in the bay area? Blackhawk is ok, but I've been once and would rather not see it again.
Cache Creek or the new Graton casino? Black Oak (might be too far, but halfway to the Bodie ghost town if you've never been)? Any others closer by casinos?
Just brainstorming folks.
