With me breaking mine down later this year I'm very interested in hearing anyone's take on it. I currently have the one that came with the Trilogy kit.

Great minds think alike! :D

You can't hide from heat soak, regardless of design.
Don't waste your money, get a killer chiller

my build is almost completed. I just have to put 1000 miles on the motor before we see what she will make. I have high expectations, with 10.5.1compression, ported heads, and custom bullet blower cams with E85.

You can drive right to the dyno. Waiting does nothing for engine longevity, PERIOD!!!!
Did you degree the cams?

This is my tuners idea. I thought it was kinda strange also. And yes cams are degree

The engine is not the only thing under the hood. The 1K miles is insurance for the tuner.

I've read this LFP intercooler has mixed reviews. On SVTP people are not impressed, but seems to be the only way to get a new intercooler now a days.

I may need to buy one. Mine has been questionable since install. I replaced o-rings a couple of days ago, drove it for short bits, somewhat hard and seemed to hold coolant fine. Took it for some boost induced spirited driving last night, and coolant was low again WTF.. I may have to remove the blower and pressure test the intercooler if trying to remove all air from system doesn't fix it. Worst case I will probably buy this LFP since too many asshats are slinging cracked or leaky used intercoolers.
