I want to change it to similar the OEM one !! cuz the ride is really harsh !!

What should I buy For the complete set of suspension !!? I mean struck and shocks or I should buy the coils too !!

Please guys help me out !! the look of the car is fantastic, but the ride is too harsh for me !!

Are you trying to fix the front, rear, or both?

The tires are OK.
Replace the springs with OEM.
I'd rather replace shocks also as I'm sure they are tired.
You'll probably have to adjust the rear ride height.

Are the rear air bags still installed?

1. Confirm that the rear has airbags
2. Count the number of coils on the front.
3. Measure from the ground to the lip of the wheel well at the highest point, front and rear. We can compare to a typical MM and determine by coil count and ride height if yours has been modified.

The original spring # is 3W3Z-5310-AA and has been discontinued. Detroit Eaton Spring is the only way to get an advertised replacement specific to the MM. Otherwise you have to buy from a parts supplier, install, and hope they are correct. I bought the Moog replacement from Rock Auto and cut 1.75 coils to drop my car just over an inch. Without the cut I would imagine it would have lifted the car.

I'm not so sure but I think the airbags is not install !! (how to confirm guys ?)

so I have to measure from the "ground to the lip of the wheel" !! I didn't understand that !!? it is measuring from the ground to the lower of the bumper !!?

sorry im guy with no experience with these things :(

THANK you guys so much

I notice that the car have springs in the rear !! is that mean that is already converted !!?

so I have to buy 2 front spring, 2 rear, 2 shocks rear and front is this right ?

I need your recommendation and confirmation guys

sorry I now I ask toooo much but what to do I only have you guys to ask :)

Yes - coil springs in the rear were added by someone in the past.

The link to Arnott is what fits the Marauder. There is some debate as to whether or not the spring rate is identical to the OEM.

Our front coil springs are discontinued so you are stuck with what is available from suppliers. Air bags are available from Ford but they are $300+ each.

If you think your suspension needs replacement, do a full inspection and replace anything worn while you are in there -

Front shocks
Front Springs
Front upper and lower control arms
Rear Shocks
Air pump assy w/ dryer
Rear air bags
Inspect the air lines
Tie rods
Sway bar end links
Control arms (rear upper and lower)

THANKX Mr. clmrt for your big help :)

so the plan well be as

Front shocks "monroe"
Front springs "moog"
Rear shocks "monroe"
rear springs "moog"

and I'll check the control arm and sway bar with the alignment too

is this right guys !!?

please notify me if any extra that I can install in the suspension ! like SPC camber bolt or anything recommended

Thank you

Don't you want to go back to the rear air suspension?

Moog rear springs? That would be coil, not airbags as original. Is that your intent?

SPC Camber Bolts are required only when lowering the car from stock height.

If you install Moog your ride height may be higher than stock. You may have to cut a coil anyway.

Do you have part numbers yet?

FBM : No don't think so it's a too pricey for me :(

clmrt : of course i'll cut the coil but only the rears right ? I dont have to cut the front spring too ?

sorry I don't have the part number if you could please provide it i'll be thankful again :)

I'll try to take a pics for my ride and post it here asap :)

Thankx guys

You cannot cut the rear coil spring - pigtail type.

oh I see that is a very useful info Thank you

so if I buy Moog spring how much approximately I have to cut to achieve a lower ride ?

I want it to be lower than a stock a little bit, not too much I don't want to be a harsh driving.

from what I understand i'll be cutting the front ! then how can i lower it from the back !!?

If your going to cut the springs to lower the car just try new shocks first and see if it rides better.

Return to stock with the airbag / compressor / ride height sensor and adjust (Expensive can of worms as the air spring rate changes with every adjustment, knocking the shock/spring tune out of whack), or get custom rear springs from Eaton, $180 plus shipping.

If you go Eaton, then things are much simpler - Ask for Marauder springs (2003) and specify -1" ride height for all four springs. I would imagine $500 delivered.

$500.00 delivered to Saudi Arabia?

Probably.

$360 in steel, $140 in shipping. Just a guess.

I just got a quote on FedEx Intl Economy, $297. $660ish then.

the problem is price shipping !! what about MOOG or EIBACH !!? did they have a springs and coil for our marauder ? because I think there is a dealer in Saudi Arabia

any other idea except for the airbag and eaton springs ?

can I get a front moog spring cut and let's say eaton coil ! to save some $$$ :(

I now I ask endless questions :( sorry guys

I have a set of new Marauder air springs from Ford, only used for one year if you're interested in returning to the air suspension.
