What do any of you think about these on the MM.

They look nice, kind of like a "modernized" version of my old love, Cragar SS wheels!

Come to think of it, what is the width of our stock wheels, and the backspace? I was checking out the Cragar site, and they make 18" SS wheels in several different widths and backspace sizes.

8 inches with a 50 mm backspace (or offset). I hate to mix standard and metric in the same description but that's the easiest way.

My highly developed metric to English conversion says 50 mm = 1.96 inches, so I'd need to look for a 2" offset, right?

DANG! All of the 18"X8" SS's have 4.5" backspace. Guess no SS's for a MM.

Yep, I think we've been down this path before...AND FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE- don't buy anything based on my advice. There are smarter folks who have more informed opinions.

Wasn't there a earlier thread that said that the American Racing Torque Thrust II's (what the current mustang wheels are based on) are available in custom offset sizes?

The back spacing on stock MM wheels is 6.5 inches.

Y'all better do the math better here, been there myself.

Us MM owners, we're kind stuck, K? We have dreams and desires, but also have offset issues, fenderwell issues, and maxed sizing thingys to remember.

Trust me...if I could find and fit a set of Cragar SS on my MM, it would have been done yesterday.

OTOH, this is web stuff too, and anything can happen, develop, be discovered, and tomorrow too...Like K&N doing a FIPK for the MM...Overnight magic, yes?

I suppose eventually someone with a big pocket will eventually spend big money on a new set of wheels and immediately send then to a custom shop for widening/narrowing or whatever.

Won't be me:depress:
