Either. The whole point is to not have to modify the stock COT to install an Eaton, Trilogy, Whipple, etc. No need to do it on a stock car unless yours is rotted or you have big plans.

Looking great as usual Jerry!

What is tig

Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), also known as tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding, is an arc welding process that uses a non-consumable tungsten electrode to produce the weld. The weld area is protected from atmospheric contamination by an inert shielding gas (argon or helium), and a filler metal is normally used, though some welds, known as autogenous welds, do not require it. A constant-current welding power supply produces energy which is conducted across the arc through a column of highly ionized gas and metal vapors known as a plasma.

to clarify:
1. will you be having several welded at once to supply a 'batch' sale when ready? no waiting on any sources?
2. will these be sold as a left / right pair, each side fully welded to accept factory sensors / hoses, with o-ring grooves and tabs for head mounting?
3. designed to use a hose that connects them, that routes under an Eaton type blower snout? Trilogy style?
4. will they be finish coated in any way?

this set = just connect with a hose and go = no extra labor.

On3 kit is more versatile, more options.
It's kind of apples to oranges, these COTs are more purpose-made for roots blower setups, on3 kits are more universal and can be tailored for any kind of setup.
They are both great IMHO it just depends on what you want to do.

Being as how Jerry is just doing these the help the community, and your the one that wants/needs it, it would seem that maybe, just possibly, you would start a poll and collect a deposit to make it happen.

It will be worth all your effort, these are a very high quality product....

Not sure if they fit NA cars and are not necessary unless your's are rusted and about to leak as they are no longer available. can be hard to find. Jerry's are stainless.last longer than the car.

Please specify trilogy or eaton and with or without heater core nipple. I love options :D

What is the difference between the trilogy and the eaton COT's?

Can I buy the raw parts and weld together myself?

Whenever I open the hood I remember my car is only going to run as long as the COT doesn't rust through. Can we even get radiator hoses for this these cars anymore?

I may have to supercharge just to keep the coolant in the engine where it belongs with one of these lovely coolant tubes.

I rarely buy hoses for any specific vehicle, I just walk into the back of Advance and match them up. Never once had an issue finding stuff. They know better to ask me "what's it for" LOL Typical Frankenstein **** normally..

Are you selling the risers? The set I had you make has been on my car almost a year now with no problems. The design uses The Ford size O-rings. You also need to include two 3/4" spacers for the alternater bolts. I turned my own.

I do not have any in stock.

You were part of the first run. At the time I was given a sample and ask to make them.

I realized they were needed afterward so I included them and a pulley stand in a kit.

The cost is only partly the material, you have CAD work, make a jig, weld them up, pressure testing, it all costs money, or time, which equals money.

Then to add. There are only 6000 of these cars out there and only 10 people want new COT's.

But.... if Jerry was smart he would start designing everything in his slow time so when they all start rusting out and 1000s of people need them, he'll be ready to make the big bucks.:)

You are almost exactly right. I'm just about even maybe a hair ahead on the first run. I only did them because trilogy told me they weren't selling their last two.
I think their are roughly 10 sets left and when those are gone I won't be doing another run :beatnik:

GordonB

OK, I'll bite for whatever price gets worked out, not to exceed $475. Not sure it matters what the material is, stainless tubing is GREAT, but plain old tube steel with paint works for me if it makes a significant difference in price.

For Jerry's COT and whichever GT500/M122/TVS/FRPP/Trinity blower. Just the short hose to connect the COT under the blower snout. I figured if someone's already gone through the process of figuring out what fits perfect...
