View Full Version : Mods - Hard to Draw the Line?

I recently bought a P1SC procharger head and began buying other components to supercharge my SB :D. Then for one reason or another I started contemplating the D1SC instead :dunno:. One thing led to another... and today I ended up sending payment for a D1SC unit. So unless something goes wrong, in a few days I'll have two centri heads.:banghead:

I find myself with an ever growing project. I know I am not alone. Sometimes it is hard to draw the line isn't it?

What's your ever growing project and/or where do you draw the line?

My house. I've gone from looking for a contractor to looking for an arsonist ;)

I've decided to go D-1SC as well. What's my project? Check sig below. And no, it will never be done. I'm just getting started! If it were to ever be done, I'd be bored with it and forced to move on.

I know what you mean. If it's not widened wheels and suspension parts on my mind one day, it's more displacement, cams and a better blower the next...

My new trilogy Car is ending being more than I thought I would go with it. But some things just needed the attention or upgrade so had to do it It's a nice car per Marty and Jeff who have more seat time than me LOL, but I won't go further with superchargers and cams and stuff. Give it a good detailing, some Limited360 projector retrofits, maybe a piece or two of underhood bling. I'm just going to try and keep it nice and enjoy it until the next fun car/toy comes about down the road.

I too, alwasy have wants for the house..last year, concrete drive, this year new furnace and a/c , next year an attached storage shed like 16x12 or 18x12 and then a deck off the patio since I dont have yard, just a wooded ravine.

Good to know. Have you figured out what size pulley you will be going with?

Whatever gets my 8.5:1 to 20#'s :)

I haven't gotten that far yet. I just made up my mind a couple weeks ago and very slowly in the process of nailing down this and that. No rush at all here, she's plenty fun to drive as is.

Right on. If you are in the market for a D1SC, I came across one at corral that looked like a decent deal. PM me if you want the info.

Appreciate it, but I'm more than likely going new with everything, I see enough people getting burned to save a buck. I don't really want to eat my own words of "I told you so". LOL

Set a goal and then make a plan to meet that goal. You can keep changing it.
I prefer to change the goal after I meet it otherwise all you are doing is "planning".
My goal was a DD 11 second car that I could make 40 passes a year in and drive 15-20K per year.
I met the goal.:D I will not put a roll bar in the car so I am where I am at.

My goal is the 11s and to keep it looking badass. I'm halfway there. ;)

It is a hard balance between wanted mods (both for the Mustang and the Marauder), home improvements and a much needed boat for the empty boat lift! :depress: I have at least decided that I want a supercharger setup for the Marauder. Most of the other supporting mods are done.
