Custom H pipe dimensions?

I posted a thread inquiring about H pipes last month as I was trying to get advice on a good exhaust set up with a good sound. I received good advice to remove rear cats and resonators (I also have plans for SW headers) and keep the stock H pipe. Well I just happened to make friends with someone who can make me a custom H pipe for next to nothing. I don't know much about any dimensions, measuring, etc. I'm wondering if it's too much trouble for anyone with a custom H to enlighten me with some plans on how make one so I can give then to my friend. Any info on how to reach this goal is welcome. Thank you very much.

If he can make a custom H, can't he read a tape measure? Seriously, no one in their right mind would fab that up using measurements from an Internet forum. If I can fab my own at home in 3-4 hours, a new friend that can do it for next to nothing could do it in... Never mind, those words would scare me off.

Go to a good shop, and spell out what you want. Anything for next to nothing, usually ends bad.
