I started a thread a little bit ago about getting some help with re-setting up the E-brake hardware. Now that I figured that out, I now have another problem.
There are 5 cables in total that make up the E brake system.....one cable from the front to the rear , 2 cables that both connect to the the cable from the front and route to each side.
Now the last 2 cables I cant find any where. These cables connect to the last two cables I spoke about and actually go through the hole on the rotor/dust shield thingie and connects to the park brake lever. Now I can find the part number for the park brake lever but nothing about the cable that connects them to the other cables. Its only about 6 inches long and has aloop on the end that the park brake lever hooks into.
This my issue, the rear left cable with the loop is broken and I cant use my e brake. Before you ask why would you need your e brake, I dont need because I use it, I need it because north carolina inspects vehicles and you cant pass with any safety equipment not working
I have new shoes, and an e brake hardware kit but I need this cable first.
Ive alreday looked through the exploded parts pdf that I downloaded from here but havent had any luck. Thanks guys !!!!
