I currently have the AT2525 mufflers and I really liked them at first but now they are getting annoying. Even though i dont travel at 35mph that often, the drone that is there is pretty bad. And plus when I want to do some moderate acceleration, uphill, the car gets really loud if I go anything past half throttle.

These symptoms are magnified when driving the car cold.

Just wondering if any of you guys have heard or used the XL versions. I really like the sound, just not the volume. With headers being on my list for future exhaust upgrades, I dont want to wake the dead everytime I hit the gas.

thanks!

Oh yea current set up is rear cat delete, and 4" non res tips. Everything else is stock

If you opened up the mid-pipe and over axle piping the drone would be less.

It would be cheaper to add in some resonators rather than replace the mufflers.

but then i have to worry about which resonator to pick and there are hundreds of em and they probably all sound different. Maybe I should wait until I have all the exhust work done before I change anything. But i dont want to put on headers and full 2.5" exhaust and bust people's ear drums driving around.
