I cleaned up the inner side of my MM wheels and now the finish is very dull. Is there a product you can apply to it to give it a more luxurious look? I'm not talking about a permanent finish like chrome just some thing that will bring a little luster back.

Thanks in advance. :)

I have this problem with the outside of my wheels. Once I wash the car the wheels get very hazy and *****y looking. I have to wax them or rub tire wet on them to make them shine but once I wash them again they are right back to looking like junk.

I know I run a different wheel but i hated the dust build up on the inside. So what i did was paint the inside of the wheel black, it looks better than that dull brake dust look and easier to clean up.

JUST AN IDEA

The inside of the Marauder rims while polished somewhat, it is not to same level as the exterior. If you look as the spoke opening where back and front of the rim can be seen to meet, you will notice that the polisher only goes an inch or two beyond the front.

So unless you plan to polish the inside to the same extent as the outside, you're going to have to live with "dull". *Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Try a coat of wax?

Mine have a semi-gloss as mentioned, and don't see that as an issue.

Assuming you are speaking about your MM, why worry? You don't drive it.

Mike.

My trade Secret is to use mothers chrome polish and a scotch brite pad, and 2 " cold ones'' [ pepsi or doc pepper].. and Rub the inside real good with the mothers and the pad with a back and forth motion ,if there are any corrosion pits use 320 grit sand paper ,wipe down with lacquer thinner and spray the inside of the wheel lightly with Chrome spray paint from Pep boys. That was my Carlisle show secret... the chrome paint gives the inside rim the flat aluminum shine also use mothers chrome polish by itself with a soft cloth to polish the chrome side ,135,000 miles and my wheels look new.including the left front recycle wheel on the left front ,..
