38883went to the junkyard the other day and came across a door panel for the Rauder. Just have to change out the trim (04 grand marquis)

I changed the trim on a set of front door panels.

1. Take a heat gun and melt the hat of the pin attachment points to get the trim off both door panels. (be careful not to melt the door panels) Pry gently, you are just trying to heat the pins enough to allow the plastic hat part to bend allowing the trim to pull apart.

2. Use scotchbrite grinding discs on an air tool to grind down the melted pins to allow them to slide into the new door panels.

3. Use a quick drying 2-part epoxy to glue the trim in place.


They've been in my front doors for 3 years and 65,000 miles with no issues.
