I found a good deal on an Eaton Swap in my area - About $1,400. :)

I checked with one speed shop in Las Vegas. I was quoted $3,000 to in stall and custom tune it.

Is this a reasonable price or am I getting hosed?

Sounds high, but maybe not for Lost Wages...I would think closer to $2k

Is it an Eaton swap for a Marauder (someone collecting parts for a Marauder) becasue the eaton swap for a mustang there are parts you dont need and parts you still have to get so better figure that in.. if possible, list all the parts that come with what you found and someone here will tell you what you can use and what you still need.

"Any shop can fabricate"

Sure, at a steep cost.. Lucky lji372 is making them!

As for install price. I have no overhead and wouldn't consider anything short of $1,000 with no tuning. Local tuners around IL. are around $450 for F.I. Dyno tunes if you already posses an Xcal.

I would say $2-2,500 if done by a shop with zero hang ups. It goes up, make that way up quickly if problems arise, broken/wrong parts, plus the crap ton of misc stuff needed like hoses, clamps, wiring, fluids, ETC.

Custom work, done right, you're going to pay. As mentioned, highly doubtful you'll provide all the correct parts to the shop for an "easy bolt on".

$3K would be a good deal IF they are competent and do excellent work.
