I have acquired an almost complete marauder interior, and will be slowly swapping parts over to mine. but question on headliner and more so to center mount bracket.
front bolts/screws in but what product to anchor rear part?
i also will be using some 3m general trim adhesive to secure rest of headliner once bracket taken care of.
looking for others experience or products to make a quality job.
and yes i know not a marauder. but this will be a quality and tasteful job.
my idea is a concept if mercury had done a marauder concept for 1998.
will post more pictures of all stuff i got and progress. (Thanks Jeronimo C for parts)

The rear part of the long overhead console was secured with a tremendous amount of adhesive- as I discovered when removing one from a salvage car.

I used construction adhesive when we put a MM interior in a 98 CV in 2005. Found the car in a wrecking yard a few months ago and the upper bracket was still attached to the roof. Peeled the back part off the metal part of the interior roof and used the original stack of double sided pads the factory used and glued that part to the CV roof. Will need some duct tape to hold it in place for 24 hours while the glue dries.

found a few products, considering.
3m General trim adhesive - seems best to apply for headliner itself to keep inplace unce up.
also on findtape.com - 3mScotch 5952 VHB heavy duty mounting tape 1" wide
or their 3m automotive attachement tape but its only 1/2 in wide.
also i will be putting up some thin dynamat as well, and will be under (on metal first) then bracket on top.
any others have this type set up or used like that?
or should it be bonded directly to metal and put dynamat around bracket?
thanks all for your inputs, all very helpful.

The 3M adhesive is a contact adhesive. The formed headliner does not fit tight to the roof, there are gaps. When I pull them down, the glues used to hold them up looks almost the same as the construction adhesive. It will bridge the small gaps between the hardboard headliner and the roof metal. Should bond well to the Dynamat. I have used the construction adhesive (from Home Depot) for many years and have not heard of one falled down.
Also, out here in the desert, the 3M General Trim Adhesive dries out in a few years and pulls loose.
