When the AC Compressor turns on...

When my AC compressor turns on (or cycles), I can noticeably feel it engage and disengage, especially at cruising speeds. Just seems more noticeable than other cars I have owned and driven. Is this normal?

Thanks. Wasn't sure if it was starting to go bad or something! :rolleyes: But, it can keep the car like an icebox, if you let it! :up:
