I was driving the other day, and was thinking how much fun the Marauder would be in a manual transmission, or at least the Select Shift Auto like the current Mustangs have. Has anyone here converted their MM to manual or clutchless manual?

That's one of the easiest parts and easily reversible. But yeah, I hesitated for at least three minutes. :)

Yes. You can't do it using the factory PCM. Piggy back a trans controller and spend a small fortune gathering quality parts and even more for a good tuner.
Anything can be done. How much do you want to spend on a $12,000 car is the real question.

Quoted for truth Jack. But I would ^^^ that number. Think fast.
Seriously, it is unlike any other experience just how long you can stretch these gears.

Can't comment as I've never driven one. Seems like a great addition and certainly cheaper than a modified 6L80E!

Would it be a simple bolt in for the 6L80E(along with electrnoics) or would it require alot of modification and fabrication on the installers part, like for your manual??
It would be nice just to have one more gear sometimes......

You can order them with the correct bell housing. Install would not be too involved.

I hate manual transmissions, mostly in Panther cars my own ethic code prohibit me that even when the new 2016 Ford Bronco comes out. Yeah mangs the Ford Bronco will be back in 2016.
I just swapped my mm to 6 speed this weekend. Had it done in less than 12 hours. Just working out some little things to make it more comfortable now. Like shifter location and pedal feel.

Is this including wiring up the VSS, back up lights, neutral safety, and reverse lockout? I waited till last to do these and it was the simplest part of the whole job.. Like under an hour easy.
What is your pinion angle before and after? I was having vibration issues at WOT beyond 90 to 120 depending on what POS shaft I had. I exploded a shaft clean in half at 92 at the track and warped my second shaft three different times till I switched over to the Driveshaft Shops constant velocity joint GT500 upgrade. Smooth as silk now. Keep in mind I have a fixed flange TR6060 but even still my tail shaft was only 3/16" lower than the 4R70. It never seemed to be an issue unless I was putting the hurt to it. Just curious if you measured yours before and after. I built my own cross member and was very meticulous on the angle. So much for telescoping steel shafts..
What gets me is all three shaft shops that worked on it said I measured it perfectly and this shaft is good for 2,000 HP! Yeah, crawling rocks.. Launching was never an issue. Too bad I let them talk me out of the one that IS working, the very same one I originally wanted built! $700 in two shafts, $250 in two rebalances, and $440 to get my car home from the track GONE.
That is the reasoning I ask..

As for all the wiring. Yes. All hooked up except the reverse lock out. I didn't have the pig tail for that one. I didn't check the pinion angle before but I put it at neg 2 deg. As I have aftermarket control arms. Stock I would have done neg 3 and solind would have been neg 1 or 0. No vibration to 90~ so far. My Driveshaft length didn't change either. I just swapped the 31 spline yolk and it fit perfect.
