Will Mustang Cobra R wheels fit the Marauder?

Yes but they have I think around a +24mm offset so they will stick out pass the wheel well.

The Marauder offset is between +45-50mm I think.

Hmmmm. The seller is asking $400 for a set of four wheels with old tires. Does that seem like a good deal? I suppose I could mount a front and rear up to see how they fit.

Are they LEGIT Cobra R wheels or knock off ones? Are they 1995 or 2000 style?

I've seen 2000 Cobra R OEM ones go for $600 to $1000 depending on condition.

Not sure if they are original Cobra R wheels or knock offs. I assume I should look for a Ford part number somewhere on the wheel?

Yes there should be a part number and a Ford logo inside on the spokes.

Awesome. Thanks for the help.

Even if they are knock-offs, I'd love to have a wider wheel to mount up some wider tires for Auto Cross events.

That was back when they were using the old offsets. I would pass as it will stick out too much most likely. Would work on a 98-02 panther.

Check out www.americanmuscle.com and look under 2005-2009 and 2010-2014 wheels. Lots of wheel options, finishes and prices are cheap.

I bought a set of black 18x8 2010 Mustang OE (+44mm offset) wheels to use for the winter, they been great so far.

Oh and best part... FREE SHIPPING on the wheels!

No they will not work. The lower offset messes up the steering geometry and front wheel bearing loading. The fact that they stick out about 1" further than the stock wheels means that you probably won't be able to mount wider tires on them either, they will probably rub the fenders at full lock on the front.

What you want are 2005 and up Mustang wheels they have the correct offset and at least around here they are pretty common on craigslist and usually at a pretty good price.

Look into picking up a set of 18" fan blade 2006 mustang GT wheels. I have some plastidipped black on my daily and they're awesome. Great looking on these cars.
