Coolant/Heater Core Question

Ok so in trying to figure out why temp has been rising lately and I’m losing coolant I remembered that I replaced BCM. Check the hose/fittings and sure enough the check flow valve is cracked coming off the heater core. So my question is does this have to be there and if so does anyone have a part number? The Marauder parts list .pdf doesn’t have one/ this on there. Part in question is circled.

Yeah it looks like someone has cut the hoses and added those things since there are number of worm clamps and Ford used the spring clamps. Now there were some cars where Ford installed restrictors either from the factory or as a recall/customer satisfaction thing when customers complained of hearing the coolant moving through the heater core.
