Folks,
I made a telephone call today to the people at Q-Logic. They make all kinds of car stereo products to include custom kick panel enclosures for many cars out there. I have used these Q-Forms on several vehicles and they transform your sound stage! They provide you a place for a 5.25" midrange and a separate tweeter. I use MB Quart speakers. The theory is to get the speakers out of the doors and down as far away from your head but still in front of you as possible. That makes the difference in distance from the driver's side and passenger's side speakers less, resulting in a better sound stage. Believe me, this theory works in application! I have a nice set of MB Quart 3-way separates. The 6.5" mid-bass will go in my front doors, and the 5.25" midrange and tweeters will go in a Q-Form...
Unfortunately they do not make any for the Marauder (or the Grand Marquis/Crown Vic). After speaking with Dan in product support, he suggested that we start an email campaign to his development engineers to get them to add our car in. They do make enclosures for the Sables!

I spoke with Dan today regarding Q-Forms for my 2003 Mercury Marauder. This is the limited production version of the Grand Marquis (and Ford LTD Crown Victoria) that has the hot engine and suspension. I am a member of a web forum for our cars and I would like to know if you are planning to make a Q-Form for our cars? The only interior colors are Charcoal Black or Light Flint.
