Sorry to abuse this MM Forum, but my sister just bough an 06 Must Cv, with a bold in roll bar. She thinks it is just a cosmetic bar. Does this type of bolt-in bar have any issues when we remove it??? I have no idea how thorough this bar is mounted. I have not seen the car yet.
2 - The clutch seems to need to be pushed all the way to the floor for complete disengagement - normal??? Are the self adjusting components wearing out???
3 - recommend a good Mustang forum to join??
Thnx

I believe it's a cosmetic / aftermarket install. Once you see how it's wounted you should be able to tell.

I believe they have a hydrolic (sp) clutch so it could be low on fluid or clutch needs replacing.

Bar is cosmetic, no safety value at all.

Sounds like the normal slave cylinder issues. They are known not to hold up and are hit or miss. Mine only lasted about 3,000 miles, new one so far has been fine but will upgrade to McLeod if it fails. They are also self bleeding systems so the more you use it, the better the feel.
If the brakes are good, then the clutch master is good since they share the same reservoir. I have an 1,800 mile booster and master assembly out of a 2012 GT500 if you find hers is bad.
