Been through 3 bulbs in my driver-side fog light in the past year…pretty sure I have a short somewhere to the frame.
Anyone know if there's a common spot that this happens? and if not how would you recommend I find it?
Much obliged maraudarians!

A short will not cause your bulb to burn out. How is the condition of your fog light mounting? A housing that is loose and allowing the bulb to shake around too much will cause it to fail prematurely.

I had the same problem. Removed housing and bulb was loose inside. Replaced housing and bulb was tight and no more problems.
