I'm looking into buying these, the ride height I want for the car I just don't think I am going to be able to get with cut springs or dropped springs for that matter.

I have a couple question, how hard were they to install, I read a thread where there was an issue when installing them they wouldn't align right and you had to add some washers I believe, if anyway has installed them recently or in the last couple years I guess, can answer this, is that still an issue with them. I've read the old reviews and they weren't looking to good to me, but I want to hear from more recent owners or people who still have them on and drive with them.

Just want some feedback from current owners of the Naaek Suspension to help make up my mind on purchasing them or not . Do you recommend them?

You may need to buy a camber kit from summit in order to get the correct alignment. Stock hardware may not achieve the correct camber needs

Love mine, but I am only using double adjustable's on the rear, I didn't want to lower the front of my car, others have, mixed results on spring rates.

Thanks, for the advice JBeezy, Spectragod didn't even know we could use the double adjustable on the rear. Anybody else got feedback on them

The doubles are only available if you buy both the front and rear together as a kit, I sold the fronts I had as I didn't want to adjust the front onto the ground.

Now that I think about it, I may end up upgrading my suspension parts if it will improve the ride quality

What no mid winter snow plowing with the lower bumper? :mad2:

Love my NAAKE coilovers... Need camber bolts for sure though if you want to go low, SPC sells them.

if you go with fronts make sure the springs are correct. I constantly had to adjust mine as the springs were too weak (though I was told they were correct for the MM). I think if you get the correct spring rate you will be fine. I went back to stock cut 1 inch and I'm just as happy.

Your car is the reason I want them, I never thought a Marauder could get that low. So are people just removing the spring that comes with them and using using the stock ones?

Mine still has the spring included with the coil over kit. I need camber bolts... Once I get those I will go lower.

Aren't those Naake spring setups pretty expensive? Like $1200?

I don't think the OE spring will seat on the shock's coil mount.

Actually that is cheap for adjustable coilover shocks. Expensive shocks are $500 - $1000 each. As always, you get what you pay for.

Although I have not used the Naake setup I have heard others complain about the front spring rate.

I use 600 lbs/inch on the front and have found them to be perfect. Good ride, yet handles like it is on rails. Of course I have good shocks to match, the importance of which cannot be overstated.

What's your setup lifespeed?

Stevengerard never heard of the wrong springs for our cars did you ever come across the correct ones?

What's your setup lifespeed?

It is all in my sig; Penske Racing custom-valved shocks. The fronts are coilovers with standard race springs and a custom bracket to connect to the frame perches. Tubular Addco sway bars and Metco rear arms combine to make the car handle really well.

BUT, and this is a big one, the typical off-the-shelf shocks are not correct for this setup. Shocks have to match all the other suspension components to result in a slightly overdamped system to produced good ride and handling. This requires quality, adjustable shocks to arrive at the valving that will work with these suspension upgrades. I even had to reduce the spring rate in the rear (Grand Marquis air springs) because the sway bars and control arms increased the rigidity such that I was not getting enough compliance. Also my rear shocks are quite soft in absolute terms of force vs velocity, although the resulting rear ride quality does not feel "soft".

Getting the suspension correct on these cars is quite difficult because Ford discontinued the shocks that were originally engineered for our suspension, Crown Vic/Grand Marquis parts are not correct (although they obviously will bolt up), and we don't have the aftermarket pre-researched suspension combinations and parts enjoyed by the Mustang and Camaro crowds. It is a bit of an exercise to get it right, but the results are nothing short of amazing. I am more than willing to share the shock details so fellow Marauder owners don't have to go through as much experimentation as I did.

I have heard many of the earlier users like me complain the springs seemed to lose their strength quickly. I was adjusting mine about every 4 - 6 months, eventually there was no room left. I still have them. One day I may get them rebuilt but for now I'm fine with the cut spring set up.

Were you adjusting the spring preload (threaded perch) or shock damping?

I had the Naake double adjust suspension front & rear. Although the car did handle better. The fronts would bottom out. The spring rate was way to soft. The camber was set to max & off. I didn't have time to re tune a suspension that was suppose to be made for the car. I would go with Penske. Lifespeed spent a lot of time & money to get it right.

Sometimes one, sometimes the other, sometimes both. Mostly the spring preload
