yeah the back seat looks great but the front is all ripped up. Plus, I'm putting back the original colors according to the trim codes and the vinyl in the car now compared to what the material looked like new is very different.

From all the time and sun and etc they look like two different colors almost, I'll post picks after I get it done to show you.

Well thanks guys I appreciate it. Unfortunately the pictures look better than it looks in person. There are rust spots under and around the trim in places and in the back on the right lower side rust has completely eaten some small holes through the metal.

I've sanded and put a rust converter on all the spots but the car is def in need of a good paint job and some minor body work.

Probably shoulda done the paint before the interior but oh well.

Hey Kirk or Marty, the headlight bezel on the dash is broken. The white outer part is still there but the fiberglass end is completely broken so the knob wont really tighten up into the dash.

Any ideas on how to fix it or better to just try and find another bezel that's chrome or something that fits even though it wont match the rest.

And also got my gauges back today and am going to have to try and make new lenses, the gauge lenses I think won't be to bad but the speedometer lens is gonna be tricky.

It looks like the acrylic was melted and poured into a mold to make it the shape it is and all I have to work with is flat pieces. As usual any advice would be greatly appreciated.

All the lenses are all cracked by the way, that's why I want to replace them with something that looks better.

looks like a great car. Pictures always look better than up close in person but the car looks just as good from 20 feet at 20 mph :-)

Yes except the ones in my car the outside of the bezel is a whitish color, all the dash bezels are for that matter. I took the cigarette lighter one apart and see that the outside part where you see text is white but its really like one piece and the part that goes into the dash is fiberglass I guess.

None of the others are broken, just the light switch one. The only part left of it is the white ring that says lights on it and the back or inside part is completely gone except for the pieces I found of it in the dash.

Any junk yards near you with old cars? Any 1963-4 full size Mercury will have what you need. You can also try any on-line junk yards out west or down south. Gotta believe you can find one.

Part number is C3MY-10852-A, which means it's a Mercury only part. Galaxie isn't the same.
