Picked mine up yesterday! We're going to visit relatives in central PA, so we'll be taking the '02 Mountaineer while the Marauder waits in the garage. I'm almost looking forward to the drive to work next week.

Congrats! Someday soon that will be me. Getting up early to take the long way to work.
I worry that I will walk into the dealership next summer and totally loose it!
"I'm sorry, I wasn't listening, what did you say? $950 a month for 12 years with 10 grand down? uh... OK whatever... can take it home now pleeeze!"
Burning, burning envy..........

Congrats! You're leaving the Marauder in the garage!? You're more of a man than I am. I don't think I could resist. :D
Welcome aboard, where in SE PA? I'm in West Chester, if you want to do some racing, some friends and I go over to Atco here and there.

Welcome Mark! Enjoy!
What's up with the Winner thing on the back? I'd HAVE to get rid of that, no offense to the dealership... but I had my plate frames from them off within a week!

Mark: Congrats and welcome aboard! I know what you mean about leaving it in the garage! Its tuff but. I am about 25 miles N of Phila. Do not use the MM for a daily ride.
Best of luck with it.

that's a great view of the car. Congrats!
I tend to agree, I'd have them take their "Winner" off the rear facia as well. Unless they pay you a monthly rate for advertising of course ;)

Welcome!
What do you mean you "almost" look forward to the drive?:D
I'll still take any excuse to get mine on the road, and I've had it 6 months!

Just got back from God's country. Now I can go in the garage and ogle the car. Nice to get all these responses! I want to post some replies...
I was able to get 6% financing through Citizens Bank, so the payments weren't that bad. Also got $2500 cash back from Ford, and the dealer cut a couple grand off as well. I even paid about $1200 for a 100,000 mile warranty, something I normally wouldn't do.
So to Heavy351, just do it!
Yes the "Winner" decal is coming off. I told them if they bolted a Winner license plate to the front bumper, the deal was off.
I'm in New London Township, Chester County PA (southernmost twp in Chester, Maryland border). So Bigdogjim, buddie, JAL, looks like we have the beginning of the PA Marauder club. Perhaps a Spring get-together.
Cheers,

Mark-
I took your pic and made reference to it for a problem I noticed--see my thread -"rear exhaust megs--not level" -- Thanks for posting a great pic of your MM's underside--I think all will get a good chance to see the problem I mentioned--you too need to look...
and welcome to the site....we all know how you feel right now--yeah we all get withdrawals wanting to drive our MM ..for any reason....and be careful for awhile..not too fast ..too soon.....it'll be hard to do though...

Mark: Check up comming events. Feb 15 in York, Pa. Not too far from were you are. E-mail if want to go when the time get closer. I drove a tour bus for 25 years so America is my "backyard" I can help you get around no problem! The MM is a bit smaller and a hole lot faster than the bus. Ain't life great!

Mark,
I own a '96 Impala SS, so technically I couldn't be part of the club. But, I like the Marauder a lot and look forward to going to some cruises and shows with you local guys.
My Impala club was in Kennet Square yesterday for our annual Winter dinner.
SSee ya SSoon!

Gee, didn't think ownership was a requirement here. I'd expect that mutual respect for one another's experiences in this "heavy" sports car ring would be all it takes. If you can make the drive for our Jan 5th event in the Chicagoland area, you are welcome to join us, and enjoy some great chicken.
"Honey...Just running to the store, be right back!" LOL...
