Man I was just in Michigan! not sure if FedEx , or UPS will ship a driveshaft , may have to check with Yellow freight , ive never shipped one.

Nothing special, just a long 6X6 box with some padding. Picked my last one up from the UPS hub the night before Louisville because I wasn't about to delay my trip a whole day.

Why does it have to be low mileage? Just get the u-joints replaced and the shaft balanced. As long as it isn't bent your good.

My mechanic thinks the creaking noise I've been after is coming from the shaft. The u joints are new.

Maybe the new u-joints are bad or installed improperly. Not much to the driveshaft that would cause a creaking noise.

Ive shipped driveshaft before via usps post also. Shipping is the not problem. Its the cost and it shouldnt be no more then $30-40 bucks. Might be even cheaper, cant remember.

Ha Ha, yes it was. I think I'm barking up the wrong tree with replacing the driveshaft so I'm no longer in the market.
