So I a few months ago I was driving to campus when a stopped Siemens van decided it was going to change lanes as my car was directly next to it driving in an empty lane. This forced me to swerve to avoid wrecking my beautiful Marauder but the lip of my front passenger side rim caught the curb. I signaled for the guy to pull over and turned into the nearest parking lot. Of course, the jack hole floored it as soon as I got out so I dove back into my car and chased after him. Long story short, it was lunch time on a busy campus so I lost him without getting close enough to get a picture of his license plate and Siemens was no help.
So now I have a scuffed up rim. Can these be repaired or am I basically going to have to buy a whole new one? I'm not below getting it resurfaced if I can and then just getting all four painted. Anyone have any thoughts or experiences with rim damage repair?

Some of that may buff out but as far as road rash goes that is par for the course for most of us who use or used our cars daily.
Check Google for companies in your area who fix wheels.

Yeah, there seems to be a few on neighboring counties. I wouldn't mind getting it buffed then plasti-dipping them gun metal grey. I would like to see how they look before going more permanent with powder coating. My brother has a few sets but they aren't polished so I guess I could screw around with those until this one gets refinished.
