it says it on the back but when looking inside i dont see a boost gauge.maybe just throwing stickers on make it faster .Hmmm i wonder if i can do that too beats spending ten grand :baaa:

I wonder if marauder57 or someone else could ride over and check this one out, the only dealer sold SC MM. This dealer must be one of the smarter ones. You know what, I think I'm going to start thinking I've got a SC in mine. Doesn't the saying go that if you think it, then it must be true?

I saw nothing to indicate that this car is a PI. The first thing that would go is the leather interior.

Are any dept's using MM PI's as of yet? I doubt there is a PI option on the car.

I would be surprised if this car came out to be a legit PI.

Before this thread goes out of control, this is one of those instances that the dealer has no idea what a MM is or what it has. This is a normal plain jane MM unless proven otherwise.

Not to sidetrack this thread, but could you imagine the boost gage that Ford would spec for a factory supercharged Marauder?

I can see it now: 0 psi when the engine was shut off, then immediately shoot up to 6 psi when the key is turned on (but the engine off). :lol:

Or why not cheapen it further and replace the numerals with "Low" and "High" markings? (yeah, I know Pontiac did that on their 1980-1981 Turbo 301 Firebirds, with the little "low/medium/high" lights in the offset 'scoop' opening).

ps: the car in question IS a used 2003. Could it have been supercharged by the previous owner?

I called just to be an a$$, and he confirmed "yes its a PI supercharged!!" So I asked him to go get the brand of supercharger and he then said "sorry there is no supercharger, but it is a PI because there is a badge on the rear" So I asked what options made it a PI? ........silence.......I dont know...maybe thats just a badge someone stuck on it" nice to mess with a car salesman, I let him off the hook after that.

I emailed the dealer this AM after seeing the post. I told them they need to revise their ebay description. Told them it was not supercharged or a police interceptor. They revised the listing.
