I have a very small leak from my radiator. It looks like the fan shroud may have cut into the radiadtor... Is this a known issue?

I'm not aware of it being common issue, I had the same thing happen on an 84 Impala..fan shroud warped a bit and rubbed on one of the tubes to where it leaked..drained and pulled radiator and dropped of at radiator shop and reinstalled.. A lot easier on an 84 Impala for sure

As RCR stated, this is NOT a common issue with the MM specifically. If it's just a pin-hole in a tube, should be an easy fix for any competent radiator shop. Save you a bundle if you R&R it yourself, though.

If not familar, make sure you or the place that does it properly "burps" the system of air after re-filling collant or you will have an overheat condition in no time. Here is a instruction detail

I haven't seen much posted about radiator failure but the fan wiring does cause problems from time to time.
