What do you mean by "almost?"

Trans fluid is a 1 viscosity oil of I believe around 10, unlike motor oils.

The cooler the better it is for trans components, I use and many others since the 60's is an A/C condensor. Workin on 300,000 miles on my 83 merc, no rebuilds.

Well, that's a pretty good sign. Are you running just regular transmission fluid, or a full synthetic? BTW, nice times for a n/a Marauder!

I was watching a car show out of Las Vegas. An AAmoco dealer had a product called Gear Guard. He claimed that by adding to trans or rear end would reduce the heat by 40 per cent. Hard to believe.

Anyone can answere any truth to this or not.
