okay here goes.I just recently purchased an 03 Marauder.so the research has begun. on exhaust systems.looking for pros and cons on kooks headers and mid pipes. and stainless works headers midpipes and catback system.obvious thing is they're both very expensive.also exhaust tone is very important to me it's got to sound just right! so I found it's too quiet. so I decided to straight pipe it. figured that with the converters and the resonators that that wouldn't be too loud. I was wrong not only is it loud is really rappy it sounds like a cross between a 60s muscle car and a truck. looking for a sophisticated deep tone.well being a little throaty under load. without being obnoxious.without being straight pipe rappy.or hollow sounding or like it's underwater.I know I'm not asking a lot here haha:-) so maybe magnaflows? Or maybe wicked flows Mufflers? any info / help. is much appreciated thanks in advance.

Marauder modular motors dont tend to have that lower, musclecar rumble, prolly due to the length of the exhaust etc. compared to say a modular mustang which exhaust is shorter. Alot of different combinations avail.

Quite a few youtube clips of marauders with all kinds of exhaust options

Also, an H-pipe will have a slightly lower tone than an X-pipe.
