Hey guys,

Driver side turn signal blinks fast when engaged. Other side is normal. Guess its a fuse, maybe? Or bulb on its way out? Looks ok.

Thanks

Fast flashing means there is less resistance in the system. .... blinker fluid is low :D
Bulb is out.

None of the bulbs are out. But I am suspicious that the driver side turn signal bulb might have limited life left since the passenger side went out awhile back.

If there are 2 bulbs in the rear you'll probably find 1 is burned out.

It was still blinking fast on the way to Costco this morning. Slammed the trunk with all my pallets of junk in there and then drove home. Was normal on the way home. Wtf? lol

I have a car with this same issue. Tried new bulbs including higher wattage ones suggested on this forum but the problem persists

Remove bulb. Smear dielectric grease on terminals. Check female side terminals for corrosion and if they are spread too wide. Adjust with small screwdriver. If any doubt replace them. They are dirt cheap.

If the usual/above-mentined fixes fail to solve the problem, consider the multifunction switch as an expensive last resort; that's what it was on my Crown Vic.

This was my problem a couple of months ago - all the lights looked good - found one of the taillight bulbs burned out when I removed them from the housing.

Started blinking fast again today. I'll start replacing some bulbs to be on the safe side.

I always replace all the bulbs when one goes bad as the others won't be far behind.

One day its blinking fast. The next day its fine. Well, I'll start with replacing the rear tailight bulbs. Found a good video on youtube on the process. But I suppose it could also be the front side marker on that side.

Haven't put new bulbs in yet. Was at Walmart and saw they had the LEDs for the tail lights but had other more important things to buy. Today though, the blinking seemed to go both ways. Even once while I was using them, it blinked normal, then got fast, then normal again in the same use, lol.

Unless you add resistors with the LED bulbs (one per bulb) you'll still have the fast flash condition.

Just wondering but i'm experiencing the exact same issue, did you ever get around to replacing the bulb and did that fix that problem?

I just replaced both rear bulbs and it's still intermittent, I'll do the front bulbs tomorrow.

When it's blinking very fast, the rear bulbs don't even light up.. Like I said, this problem is intermittent. Any advice?

Never got around to doing anything about this. But problem went away shortly after and hasn't done it in a long time. Go figure.

Fast blinking finally came back. And this time it now is a bulb out. One of the bulbs in the driver side tail light is out. Will replace it tonight.
