there is a tapping sound on the driver side like a bad lifter. has anyone had this problem and if so what did you do ? if I go to the dealer I already know bend over !!!! Before I do that I come to the forum for help !!

Most likely it is worn chain tensioners. There was just a thread started on this the other day, where some members even posted before and after pics.

Sounds like the result from the lack of a cooling mod on 7&8 cylinders!

It may be normal since the top end of these motors is pretty noisy!!:cool:
